As a child, crafting came naturally to me. Everywhere I looked, I found treasures. Stones glistened as I plucked them from the lakebed, tree branches morphed into delicate ruffles, and pebbles transformed into precious jewels in my imagination. Much of my childhood was spent with my grandparents, crafting by the kitchen table. Afternoons were filled with knitting, embroidering, and crocheting, while Grandpa and I collaborated on crafting wooden toys based on my descriptions. At the time, I never reflected much on making, it was just a natural part of our every day life. Now I know what powers it holds.
